This post is part of the FMF Writing Prompt Link-up :: Heavy
It’s heavy and wearisome seeing the toll of the war and chaos reigning in the Ukraine.
As we look at what’s happening in our world, and most times too in our personal life, it can seem so overwhelming that you don’t know what to do.
Surely, we don’t know what to do because we’re not supposed to know in these heavy situations.
But instead, this is the opportunity to look to our Heavenly Father as King Jehosophat did in 2 Chronicles 20:12, when he plead to the Lord on behalf of himself and the families of Israel
For we are powerless before this vast army that comes against us.
We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” –
2 Chronicles 20:12
That’s where we need to be as a people as sons and daughters of the Living God.
When our hearts are heavy and overwhelmed with evil, and chaos of the world, we can be lead to the Rock that is higher than either you or me.
In Jesus name! Amen!
Be Encouraged,
Stephanie
