Happy Friday!
I’m posting this quickie, as a part of the weekly Five Minute Friday link-up with today’s word being “CANCEL”.
These words of Jesus should burn in our hearts as a reminder that:
1. He canceled our eternal sin debt by nailing it on that Cross.
2. That word cancel means it’s a fresh start for you and me.
In Revelation 21:6, Jesus said that “it is finished” and that He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.
The beginning of our new life in Him and the end of what makes us so US.
Living in a cancel culture kind of world, everything you say or do can be misinterpreted or misconstrued. People are quick to cancel each other out before realizing who the person really is inside.
Thank God for the love, mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ who didn’t cancel us out.
He could have.
He probably should have.
But He didn’t.

but in Christ, would glow
to a lovely shining light

brighter than in any drwam
that on earth we’d hope and feel,
for in Jesus, it’s all real.

I love that you took a positive approach to the word cancel. Thank you for that reminder of the good news of having our debt cancelled. We are free and the joy of the Lord is our Strength.

Thank God he didn’t cancel us out. May we always look to Him as the Redeemer and Strength that we need and that we need to share with others. Have a blessed weekend!
