Knowing which way you’re headed is important. It’s true that as humans we do have our own way. We have our own way of doing things. We have our own way of speaking and definitely, as individuals, have our own way of thinking. If we didn’t we would be somewhat robotic beings. But God in His infinite wisdom created us to be unique and creative.
However, He didn’t create us to go and think our own way apart from Him. The writer of Proverbs was correct in saying: “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.”
What a sad conclusion by the philosopher Nietzsche. Sadder yet, is the fact that there are millions of people who have the same mindset when it comes to faith in Christ.
Whether people choose to believe it or not, the truth is Jesus died for all of our sins, so that we wouldn’t face an eternal death.
Personally, I’m grateful that Jesus made Himself crystal clear that there is ONLY ONE WAY and indeed it is the RIGHT WAY!
